Fire Extinguisher Training – Using Portable Fire Fighting Equipment This course educates participants about the relevance of fire safety and provides the opportunity to develop operational techniques when using fire equipment in the workplace.

Breathing Apparatus (BA) Training This BA course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to use self contained breathing apparatus in the work place.

Confined Space Entry Training The Confined Space Entry training equips authorised employees with the knowledge and skills to safely enter and operate in confined spaces, avoiding exposure to hazardous substances, flammable or explosive conditions or other safety or health issues.

Fire Safety Advisor (FSA) Training – QLD only Only This training provides participants with the skills and knowledge to carry out the duties of a Fire Safety Adviser, such as; develop risk management strategies and advise on the emergency planning process.

Fire Officer Training (Level 1) – NSW only This course will cover all modules required for Healthcare Fire Safety Officers (Level 1) as stated in the NSW Health Department Circular 2003/87 “Guidelines for Fire Safety in Health Care Facilities”.

Spill Response Training This training course is an introduction to attending to hazardous liquid chemicals spills in a safe manner and utilising the relevant spill response materials.

|
Emergency Control Organisation (ECO)/ Warden Training This training course is for employees who have been appointed as Wardens in an ECO. On completion they will understand how to operate as part of an emergency response team.

Chief and Deputy Chief Warden Training This course will cover the practical use of Emergency Warning and Communication Systems, the theory of their duties and responsibilities, how to coordinate the operations of an ECO.

Evacuation Exercise This is a practical assessment of the ECO and the awareness of the general staff. The exercise includes; a risk assessment of the premises, briefing and debriefing session and the evacuation drill.

General Staff Emergency Awareness Training A theoretical awareness session covering the response of employees to an emergency in the work place. Staff will learn how to react safely in an emergency situation. Designed as general information for all staff, about the emergency procedures in place in their building.

First Aid Training This First Aid Training course covers a broad range of topics to enable participants to confidently manage emergency situations and provide care for the ill or injured until medical aid arrives. It is suitable to both people in workplaces and members of the public who want training in first aid.

Warden Refresher Training The Warden Refresher training is designed to provide Wardens with a review of procedures and reinforcement of previous training sessions.

|
Lay Flat Hose Training This course is tailored to suit staff who are part of an Emergency Response Team (ERT) and who are required to fight larger than first attack fires. The session aims to train staff on how to contain large fires until responding emergency services arrive.
